"Bao Long" Jerry Yan had always remained low-profile, and also knows really well how to avoid reporters and photograpers. But the other day, he didnt get cautious enough, all because the Uncle who carried his taxi escaped to take a leak. As he and his assistant stayed inside, the two were scarely horrified like a tree chicken, but Jerry became even more scared when his female assistant immediately went down and desperately played as the driver, that allowed many groups of reporters fighting their way to get pictures be shocked at this "mavelous sight.". The day befor yesterday (7th) Jerry was at the Regent Hotel and attended "The Hospital" Press Conference. After the event, Jerry and his assistant took a taxi later in order to avoid the reporters and photographers from following them. Then, Uncle driver continously circled around in the nearby alley, intended to throw off the numerous media following behind them. The driver even made a right turn while the light was still left, and his coordination with Jerry was rather high.

Jerry and the media car chase went for about 30 minutes and suddenly, Uncle driver slowed down towards the side to a nearby toilet, with Jerry and his assitant as the only ones who remained in taxi. This time, all the media reporters who had been following them all along , got off from their vehicles and hurriedly went towards Jerry's taxi and took pictures. His assiatnt felt worried and took hold of the driver's seat to drive away, letting on-lookers see Jery in a funny scene like this. Also, their original plan to completely cover off had become a big readily exposed glittering white teeth smile.

After Uncle driver returned, the two directed the driver to go to a residential building in Yong He. With the original $400 taxi fare, the female assistant paid him $1000 and told the driver to keep the change. Then, they immediately got off the taxi and Jerry proceeded to the building. Finally, as the elevator opened, Jeery waved his hands to the reporters showing his wishes, and to just finish off these disturbance scenes. Soon after, Director Cai Yue Xun arrived for the meeting, and had not thought of the many flashing lights that led neighbors to come and take a look. Even the police also rushed to came in, thinking it was trouble, as whispers spread, believing a homicide occured.

Jerry's manager and consultant Jing Yi Peng said that Jerry and his assistant Fenny beside him already tried to calm down the driver but Mr. driver has evidently had not encountered this kind of battle, so he somewhat panicked along the way and failed to take action. Fenny then added, " You are driving well, just dont get nervous. As long as we had not violated anything, then we're okay. "

But the driver was still scared, and in the middle of a wide road, he abandoned his car to escape and take a leak. Jerry and his asstistant were shocked when they realized it. The assistant had to take the driver's seat to move the taxi to the side. Although Jerry was very scared, he just laughed out everything, and thought that the scene was pretty amusing.

But in driving a taxi, the Taipei Traffic Group said that if they will check and found out, it is a violation of the Trafiic Regulations No.22 "Steeping in to drive", which will be fined with $1800 but not more than $3600. Moreover, because she only have an ordinary driver's license, it would be impossible for her to show a business permit, and is bound again to violate section No. 36 " No Police Business Registration" and will again be fined from $1500 but not more than $3500 in penalty fees.

In the past, when Jerry gets offended, he loved to remain quiet. Recently, his famous EQ also heightened up, unlike that when reporters followed him to take pictures on his way to HK TV¡¦s ¡§Dong Fang Xin De¡¨ in August 2004, where both parties ended up at the police station. Yan Cheng Xu's (Jerry) CTV lead drama "The Hospital" will be shown tonight at 8 pm, and begins to readily expose his white teeth and toothbrush. Outside the drama, Jerry is the endorser for Oral B toothbrushand oral care products. In the drama, that toothbrush gets to be seen, and starts to turn into a second leading role, with a cost of HK$50,000 paid by Oral B. As the giant star brushes his teeth, the drama group earned $200,000.

Without notice, Jerry went to the street opposite of Ding Hao market in Taipei where an huge electronic TV was showing The Hospital. At first, he wanted to watch the whole show inside the car. Later, as it gets warm, Jerry decided to jump off his vehicle and said, "Thanks everyone!" Wearing his baseball cap, it prompted fans to scream and crowd towards him. Last night, The Hospital went off to fight and narrow down the 8pm war again. FTV's "Unforgettable Wish" had already extended its airing last week. The original 90-minute drama is extended to 100 minutes, to take advantage of its loyal viewers. Jerry Yan Losts his way while visiting friend, Playing Hide & Seek at the hospital, Friday September 15, 2006 Taiwan



In July last year, Jerry Yan went to China to see Lin Zhi Ling who was injured there. When the news came out, reporters were dying for thirst when they merely saw a backview of Jerry. The night before, the scene repeated itself at San Jun Zhong hospital. Even though he knows the media was following and taking pictures, he still ran straight to the wards. Asked who is he visiting ? However, last Friday (Sep. 22), this reporter met the Yan Cheng Xu who didn't go there for the concerts but for work in the street of Harajuku. Around 4pm in the afternoon, Jerry who wore a green knit cap had coffee with his male assistant, then they started shopping about half an hour later. A lot of passers-by looked at Jerry as they recognized him. Then he went into a hat/cap store and tried to choose a knit cap without success. When Jerry saw the reporter, he even shook his head and told him that he couldn't find any that he liked. Jerry said that this time he went to Japan for work, so he would stay for a few more days.

According to Liberty Times, after Yan Cheng Xu and Eguchi Yousuke appeared at the airport two nights ago around the same time, yesterday at Silk's (the movie played by Eguchi Yousuke) press conference, a rumor was out saying that although Yan Cheng Xu arrived 20 minutes before Eguchi Yousuke the night before, he intentionally waited for Eguchi and came out of the restricted area right before Eguchi to get the reporters' attention.

According to Yan Cheng Xu's assistant, Fenny, when he saw a group of reporters outside of the restricted area, he was very surprised and asked, "How come there are still so many reporters at the airport at this hour?" (kkla: Poor Jerry! So easily to have untrue rumors as always! I just wonder how come the rumor was come out from Silk's press conference when Jerry has nothing to do with Silk. If the movie company informed the reporters to wait for Eguchi at the airport and Jerry accidentally stole his attention, then really sorry. If Jerry knew that the reporters were outside, I am sure that he would wait to come out later but not before. I wonder who raised this kind of nonsense rumor. I wonder whether that person had taken a flight before. Even Jerry's flight arrived 20 minutes before Eguchi's, waiting for the lugguages for 20 minutes or more is very common, not mentioning different airlines have different systems).

Jerry holds on to The Hospital's momentum as he returned to Japan the other day for a promo where he was met by thousands of fans at the airport. However, this is not Jerry's biggest gain as he was then discreetly contacted by SONY CORPORATION,INC. and snatched Takeshi's original endorser contract of the 3C asian market to enter in Takeshi's territory.

Jerry became famous after MG. After The Hospital was shown, Jerry soared the highest. Japanese fans automatically formed a group and went to Taiwan for the Asian Press Con, and his original Fan event in Japan turned into 3 because of the demand, and the original ticket price of $2000 was bid and reached as much as $56,000.

In fact, Jerry is not only famous in Japan. Aisa-wide he is a giant star. In Thailand where he and F3 endorsed YAMAHA motobike, his fame is clearly seen in Bangkok.
