nbbbs calls on supporters for Jerry in every corner of the world to
organize
protest letter against China Times in wrongful report about Jerry's
personal life.
In addition to many protest letters already being written and faxed to
China Times
in Asia, JerryUSA will take action with nbbbs at the same time.
Stopping
this nonsense report will not be an easy task, nor will it happen
overnight.
To succeed, we need to unite for justice and make our support messages
visible in
every community as much as we can. We hope all of you whom support
Jerry will make this action your priority.
Towards this end, in collaboration with our member groups, JerryUSA has
written
a letter for China Times to end this wrongful report.
In the mean time, we like to notify all of you ¨C Jerry¡¯s fans ¨C we
will
put your internet
nicknames and your location at the end of this letter. Again in order
to
succeed, we
need to increase our visibility and consistence of support to Jerry.
If you are not willing to put your name at the end of this letter,
please
let us know
before March 7,2005 (12:00am CST). We will remove your name from the
lists.

We are devastated by a recent China Times edition that ¨C used two old
photos and it¡¯s report -
announced that Jerry Yan was homosexual. It is evident from China Times
article, that
China Times has no information linking Jerry¡¯s personal life. We
believe
the report as to
Jerry is entirely false and clearly defamatory. Such a pernicious
accusation against a young
man would be outrageous and destructive. Moreover such an accusation
not
only affects his
personal life, and also his career and his future in the entertainment
industry.
China Times has a wide circulation, and is read and seen by a great
number
of people in Asia.
Whoever reads the article could easily be left with misimpression about
Jerry Yan.
We demand for the action of China Times to ¡°Publish the Apology
Enlightenment To Jerry Yan¡±<br>about this wrongful accuse in it's newspaper, China Times.
Freedom of the press is a valuable right but it is not a license for
gossipy tabloids to tar and feather
innocent celebrities and destroy their reputations and businesses to
their
profit.
We support Jerry Yan and for him to obtain happily life is our biggest
joy.
