Jerry Celebrates Birthday Brings out fans' money to do good worksSource: sharpdaily.com.tw www.sharpdaily.com.tw/index.cfm?Fuseaction=Article&ArtID=3149886&showdate=20070102&SecID=2959718January 2, 2007 summarized by Jerry's Kingdom Dressed with a Thai traditional costume, Thai fans gave Jerry Yan a huge stuffed doll for his birthday. Before his birthday, Jerry went to Australia for work and took time to eat a Big Mac Ice cream. Jerry Yan fans in Hong Kong actively sent out their birthday greetings on electronic billboards.Yesterday, Jerry Yan who recently helped as World Vision ambassador celebrated his 30th birthday that spurred some fans to make charity work and donated money, with some who sponsored children. In addition, people donated to local charities. Getting Yan Cheng Xu (Jerry) to do even a bad deed won't loose his remaining powerful influence, as his Japanese fans all together donated NT$360,000, Taiwanese fans also donated NT$130,000, and HK fans then followed with sponsoring 30 children. Those far-flung Mongolia children personally made greeting cards to express their thanks and Thai fans presented him with the national Thai costume, gold necklace and dried mangoes. However, the "shining" necklace scared Jerry and frankly called out that it was "too precious!" Jerry is currently in Japan for work, as HK fans gave their congratulation birthday messages in huge electronic billboards. There were even fans who said." I won't forget you, I still have faith in you!" where people connoted it rumored girlfriend LZL's TV commercial.

Jerry turns 30 years old, Fans smashed millions to celebrate his birthdaySource: worldjournal.com www.worldjournal.com/wj-en-news.php?nt_seq_id=1467179January 1, 2007 Summarized by Jerry's Kingdom On Jerry's 30th birthday, he spent it to go abroad. January 1 is Jerry Yan's 30th birthday. He, however, is nowhere in Taiwan. Somebody said he is in Asia, but another said that he is in the US. Although Jerry mysteriously got low-profiled on his birthday, fans nevertheless helped him celebrate the happy day. Someone bought him 3 clothes worth NT$120,000. Some fans also used his birthday number "30" to support 30 children which all together smashed nearly a million dollars-worth of expenses. According to a Taipei news report, Jerry as World Vision "Child Sponsorship" ambassador, also volunteered to go to Mongolia last November to visit his sponsored children, and his two coats and a pair of pants which he actually wore there where put on bid, and after two months it has already raised NT$120,000 with two Taiwanese fans as winners. According to reports, in order to raise funds to sponsor children and as a gift to Jerry's 30th birthday this year, 3 fan groups jointly sponsored a total of 120 children (30 children for jerryyan.org, 30 children for yanchengxu.net and 60 children for nbbbs.com). Added to this his sponsored Chun Lei class in Mongolia, they all sent cards to greet their uncle a Happy birthday. As from Jerry's own words, he never celebrated his birthday. Currently, he is out for a vacation and just wished everyone for happiness. On the 31st,m Jerry's manager Jiang Yi Peng said that Jerry would probably film a photobook this year, and would produce a special record album. His assistant Fenny then said that Jerry went out of the country in order to prepare for his future work and would return to Taiwan in mid-January.
